Restaurant Reason is very excited to be participating in bonfire's unique food adventure for a third season, alongside some of our friends and clients. If you're not able to attend this, there is still one more in October!
Much like Anne Morrow Lindbergh's book of the same name, this event highlights dishes and techniques focusing on food sourced from the sea; whether it's trout from the rivers bubbling through the Catskill region or off the Coast of the Atlantic Ocean with partners like Maxwell Shellfish.
Special guest chefs leading live fire demos include the Phoenicia Diner's Chris Bradley, Emily Elsen of Four & Twenty Blackbirds, and more to be announced later this summer. Early birds are welcomed onto the farm at noon with light snacks, and then learn safe and natural firetending, experience the beginning of low & slow cooking, and have the opportunity to explore the farm before full event program & demos begin at 3:00PM.
